Privacy policy
Last updated: 4 September 2026
This policy explains what personal data S2 Digital Media collects through this website, why we collect it, and what you can ask us to do with it. It applies to this site only — where we process data on behalf of a client, that client's own policy governs.
1. What we collect
When you submit the contact form we collect the name, company, work email, service interest, indicative monthly ad spend and message you provide. We collect nothing else through the form, and none of these fields is required by us for any purpose other than replying to you.
We also receive standard technical information that any web server records — IP address, browser type, pages viewed and referring page — and, if analytics is enabled, aggregate usage statistics.
2. Why we collect it
- To respond to your enquiry and, if it goes further, to scope and price work.
- To keep a record of business correspondence and meet our tax and accounting obligations.
- To understand in aggregate how the site is used, so we can improve it.
We do not sell personal data, we do not share it with advertisers, and we do not add you to a marketing list because you filled in the contact form.
3. Who else sees it
We use third-party services to run this site and our business — website hosting, form handling, email, and cloud storage. These providers process data on our instructions and may store it outside India. We share your information with them only to the extent needed to operate, and with no one else unless the law requires it.
4. Cookies
This site uses only what is necessary to load and display correctly, plus analytics cookies if analytics is enabled. It runs no advertising or cross-site tracking pixels. You can block cookies in your browser without losing access to anything on this site.
5. How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not become engagements are deleted within 24 months. Records tied to a client engagement are kept for as long as the statutory retention period requires, then deleted.
6. Your rights
Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you can ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct or complete it, ask us to erase it, and withdraw any consent you have given. Write to the address below and we will respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
7. Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect the data we hold, including access controls and encrypted transmission. No system is completely secure, and we will notify you and the Board of any breach that affects you, as the law requires.
8. Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page. Material changes will be flagged on the site.
